Gladys Taylor It's a beautiful day today and it sounds like God wll be blessing us with good weather again tomorrow for the Christmas Around the World in Delano day. Am involved at the Senior Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., which is in the same buildilng as City Hall.

Egyszer volt, régen volt, a Mikulás karácsony előtt észrevette, hogy a 4 manósegédje megbetegedett.
De a segédmanók nem tudtak olyan gyorsan csomagolni, mint az igazi manók.
A sok baj közepette Mikulásné bejelentette, hogy az édesanyja velük fogja tölteni a Karácsonyt.
Szegény meggyötört Mikulás ennek hallatán kiment a rénszarvasszánhoz, de szomorúan vette tudomásul, hogy az 5 rénszarvasból 3 vemhes, 2 meg ismeretlen helyre távozott a kerítésen átugorva.
Ezek után a teljesen összetört Mikulás bement a házába, hogy igyon egy kis pálinkát, de azt
látta, hogy a segédmanók már mindet megitták.
Erre olyan mérges lett, hogy a kezében tartott poharat összetörte.
Mikor össze akarta söpörni a szilánkokat, rájött, hogy az egerek régen megették a seprűt.
Ekkor csöngettek, és a lelkileg meggyötört Mikulás ajtót nyitott.
Az ajtóban egy angyalka állt, kezében karácsonyfával.
Az angyalka így szólt
- Hát nem csodálatos a mai nap?
Így alakult ki az a szokás, hogy a karácsonyfa csúcsára angyalkát húznak...
