Jane Berg Hello dear friends. It is late and I am on my way to bed after 2 cups of Sleepytime Tea and a pain pill. I was released from the hosp. this afternoon and will be staying at my oldest son Willis' home for a few days for R&R. (Weather permitting we have a wonderful close up view of Mt Rainier.) am sore but will be OK. I did make it to my grandson River's HS Choral Christmas performance tonight, which was wonderful. It ended with excerpts of Handel Messiah including the Hallelujah Chorus (accompanied by a string quartet and electric Harpsichord played by my children's piano teacher). It was wonderful to hear this evening of traditional carols and Christmas music. Thank you for all your supportive thoughts and love. Peace and Blessings to you. Jane

Virginia Larkin Looney When I think unusual things aren't going to happen to me any more, then they do!! For unknown reasons it all seems to deal with a laundry issue!! I do have to tell you a true story!! We had our Pot Bless dinner tonight at my church. Well, I helped in the kitchen. So tonight was my turn to do the laundry. I was to take home the dirty dish and cup towels. All were in a plastic tub about 1 foot X 2 foot in size. I had carried it about half way to my car. My friend Gina on the other side of the parking lot was wanting me to come over there to chat a min. Well, I didn't want to carry the tub over and back again, so I sat the tub down. Middle of church parking lot, no cars around it. Went and visited with her with my back to the tub. I came back over and it was gone! The kids told me a man on a motorcycle came over and put it on the back of his motorcycle and took off. He was across the street! Yes, we could see it was on the back of his small moped type motorcycle. So we went across the street and got the laundry tub back! He was going thru the dumpster there at the Fina, I said, "excuse me Sir, you have my tub and asked could I have it back?" He said he was sorry! Wow, can not even leave things sit on the church lot! Times are really changing! If I thought he was hungry I would have given him some food. But I think he was just out to see what he could find. I think he thought it had something of value in it! Or he just liked the size of the tub? Well, it is a crazy world! No sweat, I had my friend with me, Denise R., she is shorter than I, ha, ha........also her boys. I did have my pepper spray handy, I keep on my key ring. ......ha, ha. funny now, but was a serious thing!! A matter of principle. Oh me, a night I shall not forget!! Hope this makes you smile...............it is funny now. But on a serious note, people are getting more desperate! On the brighter side, he did have fuel for his bike! Also our laundry will be washed and retuned! No harm no foul.

Gary Parsons will...tomorrow i have to go to the dentist and get another tooth capped. i lost count on how many teeth i got capped already. so its pretty much routine for me now. i hate goin to the dentist even for a routine checkup. but i gotta do what i gotta do to maintain teeth to chew food with lol.
